We were sitting in the living room n watching tv on friday evening.. me, my two bros and our tiny naughty two year old nephew. I don't know what exactly ppl were watching , but our kiddo didn't demand his cartoon or dance today. There was a martial art movie going on- i guess that got the baby interested. It was one of those outdated action movies where the villain party has all sorts n levels of fighters and they send the next level (more dangerous one) if the hero continues defeating each one sent.. One such scene which i happened to see, suddenly after the hero is done fighting one and takes a deep breath, the camera turns and behind the hero is a huge dangerous man...he's supposed to look scary, so the face is unpleasant to look at, like brown patches of plastic/poly materials that's become his skin now. The patch is black/brown, rough and tampered. Very unpleasant.... My bro changed the channel immediately so that the kiddo doesn't see such an unpleasant thing .We all looked at him with concern thinking that the baby might have got lil scared. The baby moved his eye from the TV screen and looked at me and asked so innocently with all the actions in his almost clear words, in that tiny sweet voice. He asked "Anee(Aunt) that uncle had chocolate on the face, why? why chocolate on the face? did he fall on chocolate? Why?....Aneee?... why?...." We couldn't imagine that actually, we expected him to get scared! ..That made all of us smile. We grown ups could look at it as an unpleasant face, the baby perceived it as chocolate on the face. Our perception is influenced so much by our knowledge. the kid's knowledge is limited to cake, chocolate, icecream ...all the nice things and thats how he relates. A baby of two is still innocent and still unware of the negative emotions n influences in the world and through his eyes he sees the world around him as wonderful...
hmm...interesting!!

But that would make life more complicated with diff minds fighting out n creating confusion

Wow! it's so true that little one's world is beautiful and they see everything around them in positive perspection. If only every one in this world have positive thought...
